"Warm Summer Rain" is a 24x36 gallery wrapped giclee canvas print. This painting has so much movement and color in it. Sheila loved watching the storms pass by the beach in the summer. There is so much energy and that is what she tries to capture. Sheila is a painter of this beautiful energy!
Artist Bio:Sheila Faye Politis opened Saltwater Surf Art Gallery, on the Carolina Beach Boardwalk in April 2014. She has recently moved to the Carolina Beach from Costa Rica where she and her husband have a home in Playa Hermosa. Sheila spent her time there painting for local galleries, building her portfolio, and surfing world class waves. They decided to move to Carolina Beach after news they were expecting their first child who was born in October 2014.
Her favorite mediums include Acrylic, Spray Paint, Uni Posca Paint Markers, and Charcoal. She loves mixing media to create her unique and one of a kind style.
Sheila graduated with a BS in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University in 2012 and holds an AS in Chemistry from Anne Arundel Community College. She has incorporated her love for science and the ocean into her art to help bring awareness of current environmental issues to the general public.
